While there are many styles of meditation,  Grounded offers several choices, all of which are easy to understand and practice. Try them all and decide what works best for you. Regardless of which you prefer, each of them has essentially the same ultimate goal- to encourage you to stay in the present and let go of all that extra ‘stuff’ cluttering up your mind!

Based on traditional Buddhist practice, involves focusing on the breath and labeling your thoughts. May be done with eyes partially open and ‘heavy’ lids.

Mantra Meditation

Uses a word, phrase or sound repeated over again, sometimes paired with the breath, to maintain focus.

Visualization Meditation

You are guided to keep your focus on a specific object or scene; thus anchoring your focus on something visually tangible.

Loving Kindness Meditation

Also known as ‘Metta’- a joyful, mostly guided practice that helps develop compassion, kindness and inner peace.

Sound Meditation

Relax and rejuvenate with a calming, settling meditation accompanied by the soothing sounds of crystal and Tibetan bowls, chimes, drums and more.

Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra (also known as ‘yogic sleep’) is a guided meditation which will bring you to a profound state of relaxation and calm. Through visualization, affirmations, breath work, sound and more, you will be led into a place of deep inner peace.

 

Private Meditation Sessions

Grounded Meditation is happy to offer the unique experience of a private or semi-private meditation session or Sound Bath in your home, backyard, place of business, or virtually via Zoom! You bring the people; we’ll provide the relaxation! We can accommodate up to 100 people virtually; in-person we are limited to as many as can be comfortably socially-distanced in your designated space.

On a personal level, meditation sessions make a memorable addition to birthday parties, bridal and baby showers, or if you just want to host a wellness/self-care event for friends and family!

A meditation session is also an excellent choice for a business or corporate event, providing much needed relaxation and stress relief to your busy staff. Either as a mid-day break or after-work experience, meditation is an excellent way to say “thank you” to those who help keep your organization going.
